Roofers recruit apprentices Evening Observer

The Roofers Neighbourhood pub Union 210 Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee will conduct a recruitment through May 31, 2011 for 12 roofer apprentices.

Applications can be obtained at the New York Asseverate Department of Labor at the following locations: Chautauqua 23 E. Third Street, Jamestown and 407 Primary Ave, Dunkirk; Cattaraugus 175 N. Union Street, Suite 4, Olean; Allegany Allegany County Livelihood & Training Complex, 7 Wells Lane, Belmont. Applications are also close by at Jamestown Roofing, Inc., 119 Clifton Ave, Jamestown and A.W. Farrell & Sons, 3761 E. Lake Approach, Dunkirk. Applications are available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding legal holidays, during the recruitment epoch and also on-line at www.rooferslocal210.org .

The committee requires that applicants: must be at least 18 years old; must have a squiffed school diploma or GED transcript is required at time of indenture; must have a valid driver's certify to operate company vehicle on public roads. Proof of driver's license is required at period of indenture; must have reliable transportation to and from work sites and related instruction facilities.
