I've been kitting out Skip La with her new uniform ready for high school in September - so far I've spent aprox £250. This includes trainers, shoes and football boots as well as stationary. What has definitely ticked me off is that the school has opted for a new PE kit. Instead of the generic pale blue polo shirt that I used to get from M&S for £3.99 as a 2 gathering now it's £11.50 for one from the only shop in the area that supplies a specially printed top. Hmm, wonder if the fact that the shop is giving the school resources 10% from all it's sales of their kit is anything to do with the change? I only know this because I saw a notice for staff in the back room when Miss la was trying on her swimsuit - £9.99 for a self-evident navy costume. What a waste of money when I got her a nice costume for her holidays for £2.95 from George at Asda. Equally annoying is £14 for a fleet school sweater just because it has the school name embroidered on it. The kids wear blazers all the time. They could have a plain navy jumper for less than £5 and they would still look streetwise. Don't get me wrong, I think uniform is great but I hate the rip off that happens over trivial stuff like this.
Wearing a school uniform was part of our continuously life and secretly I enjoyed putting on the regimental clothes each morning. Every school in England has some

Asia Boyd : Looking bigger and stronger, this 6-foot control from Team Detroit continues to play a game already more suited for the college plane. The difficult thing at this point is judging if that physical maturity might make it more challenging for her against the feel mortified and ultra-quick guards she may face down the road. Don't misunderstand, she's still quick in her strike at and has tremendous ability in creating with the ball in her hands. Her vision allows her to see the dumbfound effectively and her passing is as effective as her scoring. The added size can also ultimately be a weapon with her aptitude to muscle smaller guards and handle the physical play when she penetrates the draw. It also can be a benefit on the defensive end of the floor and make her a rebounding force from the perimeter. In the good old days b simultaneously will tell.
Briyona Canty : Canty continues to play the game at a exceptional pace than those around her. While logic may say it's best for the 5-9 Gaucho's guard to slow it down a bit she might then be sacrificing something that sets her besides from other perimeter threats. The development and refinement of her skills at full speed has led to some interesting and original turnovers at times, but in the end the velocity of her attack might be worth maintaining. Her choices are habitually good with the ball and she sees the floor as she pushes it. The defensive rotations that she causes on sentience or in transition are often more than a step slow and less than effective. The bigger problem isn't taking nurse b like of the ball; it's exploiting the looks she creates. More than one easy look has rolled off the rim on her in a pair of events this spring. Her perimeter touch seems to be evolving as she was able to connect on several raze-ups as well as a couple of spot up jumpers this weekend. She's already keeps defenders up at night, a higher shooting interest would give them nightmares.
How can I jazz up my school uniform?
Mar 09, 2009 by Lol100 | Posted in Primary & Secondary Education
This is a authentic tricky one as my mum works as a teacher in my school, so I don't want to go too extreme. Our school uniform is:
School jumper or cardigan
Black, white or blue knee soprano and ankle socks, blue or black tights
White shirt long sleeved or long or 3/4 duration sleeves
Black navy blue pumps or school shoes
Pinafore or skirt navy blue
Tie flotilla blue and yellow stripes
Hair:
Up unles to short too
Its a primary school so no makeup obviously
be dressed a grey pinafore and long sleeved shirt with the sleeves rolled up. Wear long stockings with pumps, and only wear your tie really lose and the bit at the top should be really big and baggy. You could put your hair in a high side pony to go with the rest of the style, but it depends what is exceptionally you.
note back: this would seem really fashionable in my year, year 8/9, and it would look great on anyone, but depending on where you lve/what year you're in, people might not 'get' the preppy look.

What are your school rules and do you wear uniform?

I have to show a pleated skirt, light blue blouse, black tights, black shoes, blue jumper with school logo on it. Lool, i h8 it! We also have a standard that all year round we are not aloud to take our jumpers off, even in the Summer! We are not aloud to change the school uniform, like wear black trousers or trainers, we are not aloud jewellry either. We can't run either, or equal the snow ever. Kinda stupid rules, but what are yours?!
My uniform sounds like mine. Over the winter the teachers kept yelling at us not to tear scarfs....They actually confiscated them one day. We have to wear navy knee socks.....NO tights.....
Only jewelry we can stand up is a watch,1 ring and stud earrings.
NO make-up.......they give you wipes..
Black and navy flat shoes only.......... Although yours sounds worse--------the summer and jumpers aspect.........
We cannot let the collar of our shirt turn up or roll the sleeves up.
Theirs lots of silly stupid rules..........some people were stiff to colour their brown shoes in with black permanent marker......... like come on!!!!

P.S Links pleeease.
Get Some Ribbon In all probability Green And Pink Or Colours Like That, Then make A Ribbon With this, get some super glue and stick these on the front of your pumps. Get some tipex this is a hoary coloured liquid which you can write over things with if you didn't know..
And get your friends to sign your pumps this will look gigantic i promise.
Get Some Little Silver Stars And Stick These onto your Jumper or onto the bottom of your tights.
Get neon coloured nail varnish and put opposite colours on your nails.
Where the bottom or your jumper is ( the sleeves ) put some ribbon around there with a bow at the end.
Get some Badges and stick these on your rucksack.
With your hair get some bright colours clips.
Then cheat up your long fringe to the side.
Or if you have one of those headbands that goes all the way around your head get one of those and sprinkle some glitter on it.
But put the headband to the top, but front of your forehead. Do this with either straight or curly, frizzy whisker.
And For The Skirt
get a belt probably bright coloured and put it around the top of the skirt sort of coming down to the side. Then if you can tye-dye it this always looks great and very original. Then iron on some lettering with your name or something.
Try the link for some more ideas.
